Not very, unfortunately. My family and I went out of town for the weekend, so I had to take a couple of days off. I'm only a little over 100 pages into the fourth book.

The first one was alright, the second was unimpressive, the third was just ridiculous, and thus far the fourth has been painfully dull.

Yeah, totally overhyped. Not bad for a fun, quick read, and it's a decent starting point for an expanded universe. But as a work on its own, it falls short.

It only gets more and more ridiculous from there.

Yeah, I've really been quite disappointed. Everyone made it sound like it was the best literary work to ever be written. Maybe my standards are just higher.

See, that's the problem with these long, drawn out series. If the author is unremarkable, their plots become completely unbelievable and utterly absurd. If you want to write multiple books along the same storyline, I think you should end it as a trilogy.

Ok, I'm done ranting.

It gets worse, when she obviously is rushed to finish off the series.

The seventh book is a garble of half-finished theories.
