Obviously, if you’re here, you’ve joined Inspired Opulence and would like to introduce yourself. This is the place to do that. Well, there are only a few rules for this subforum, so bear with me as I explain them to you:

First of all, I would appreciate if it swearing could be kept to a minimum. I know, the rating of the forum allows swearing, but honestly I see no need to use such language in your introduction. (And seeing how I'll have to post in your threads to welcome you and check for spamming, I'd prefer if it could be kept to a minimum, Thanks)

Secondly, spamming should be kept to a minimum. In other words, if you're going to like have your own little private conversation about a random topic (i.e. squids, rats, school, politics, please, take it to PMs. I would appreciate Introduction threads that aren't cluttered up with 10 pages of spam.

On another note, please remember that any personal information you give out on the internet can be seen by any and all users of such websites. Please do not post any personal information, such as a street address, phone number, etc. If you wish to share those types of things, please do so via IM, or email or something, so that we can ensure that IO is not responsible for the information.

Also, please keep it child-friendly. We really don't need to know how often you've had sex, or how well you kiss, etc. This is an introduction forum, not a "see who you can hook up with -- dating" forum.

Lastly, I plan to check the thread every other day and will close them after two weeks to keep dead threads from being revived by spammers.
