I've never really come to grasp the whole concept of accompanying an introduction with a wealth of personal information. Suffice it to say that I am new (obviously) to this venture. Hobbies include reading, writing, really whatever piques my interest.

Well, I can understand them causing trouble if they are too archaic, abstract, dense, and wordy. But if a larger word can describe things more accurately, it should be used.

There's little difference between throwing an archaic, esoteric, collaquial, or unconventional word; they'll all miss the mark more often than not.

The rats are cute! I think they're already noticeably growing. I was disappointed though, as she was on her way out, so I didn't get to play with them.

The beauty of language is often achieved through simplicity and concision. You have to a combination of both.
