| ▲ that guy ▲ | A volt is a measurement of potential energy; the amp is an actual measurement of current. To make an analogy, imagine a pipe as a current. Mice are running through the pipe, this represents the electricity. The speed of the mice is the voltage, the number of mice running through the pipe represents the amps. |
